One of the most fun track events ever is coming up on July 2nd – the Keirin!! This is a TXBRA event and there is a code.
For those who have not raced a keirin, this is where a motorcycle leads out a group of racers (6-8) for 4 laps, increasing speed the entire time. At the 4th lap, the driver pulls off and leaves the racers at anywhere form 28 – 32 miles an hour, then the last two laps are a sprint to the finish. So, its a total of 6 laps.
