Cullen Park remains closed by the Houston Parks Department. Thus, Alkek Velodrome is closed. All open sessions are canceled until April 30th when the park hopes to open. Thanks to all of the volunteers, the track is ready to go once the park reopens. We still do need bike mechanics to help get the fleet up and running. The first Texas Cup Track event is less than two weeks away. Registration is open for the Texas Cup Match Sprints at Alkek Velodrome. Please register online as same day will be significantly more expensive, https://www.usacycling.org/register/2016-1432.
The Matrix Cup at Superdrome will be the next weekdend. Some Alkekians are looking to share rides/cost. You can comment here if you are going and interested in ride share/room share.
